I am a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Yoga Instructor, Life Coach, and Reiki practitioner. My goal is to assist you in reaching your goals and your full potential.

 

My Mission

My goal is to assist you with reaching your full potential for health and wellbeing. I aim to gently guide you to connect with appropriate choices, and help you to build rituals and practices into your daily life which enhance your well-being and feeling of connection to spirit. My philosophy and perspective as a coach is holistic with an emphasis on critical problem solving and root cause identification. I believe connecting with nature can be profoundly healing. For thousands of years, from before the wisdom of the ancient Greeks, spanning time and culture, people have found healing and joy in connecting the self with earth’s natural resources.

My perspective is cultivated from a lifetime of diverse experience and training. I started my professional career with a BS in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech, where I learned to methodically solve problems involving complex systems. Through the years, I honed my skills as a problem solver in the corporate arena using my ME degree, six sigma, and formal problem solving tools in the disciplines of engineering, supply chain, and product management. I later added training as a certified Yoga Teacher, Clinical Herbalist, and Life Coach, and a Certificate in Strategic Marketing. From a surface glance, you may wonder what is the common thread? How does this meld together? This background gives me a unique set of tools to share with clients combined with a holistic perspective: problem solving tools amplified by Nature!

If you choose a clinical herbalism consultation, I will offer your herbal preparations from my own apothecary, or help you to choose products from a source of your choice. I also offer yoga, guided meditation, and Reiki and can refer you to other practitioners and modalities.
